EASTSIDE THRIVE COACHES is a dynamic collective of six powerhouse women— each representing a letter in EASTSIDE—united by a shared purpose: to uplift, empower, and transform their community through coaching.

About Us
Faith Over Fear: The Story Behind Women Arising
In 2021, Violet H. Mwandenga (Violet Hobokela), an immigrant in Bellevue, WA, faced a devastating crisis—her three children were taken to Tanzania by their father. Unable to leave the U.S. due to immigration restrictions, Violet leaned on faith and fought through intense legal battles. After two long years, her children returned—along with her sense of purpose.
From this pain, the Women Arising Conference was born: a movement launched in 2023 to empower women facing adversity. By 2024, it had grown into a gathering of nearly 100 women united in healing and resilience.
